Ok, so moving in to Seattle U. Was I nervous, yes. Was I worried, yes. Were my parents a mess, absolutely. However, as we pulled into the driveway of my residence we were pleasantly surprised by the ever most efficient staff of the Seattle University Residence Hall Team! I kid you not it was the most painless experience I ever. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and all of the anxiety wiped away. Getting my room set up was even better. With help from my mom, dad, and uncle we got my side of my dorm set up in no time at all. Day one was hectic but hey I survived. Below is a picture of my room all set up.
Day two was equally hectic but not in the same way. In the morning I had to go to a safety meeting from public safety and then I spent the rest of the day with my parents. Watching the Seahawks game, going to Target for the second time, and fun finally dinner and the Emmy’s with my aunt and uncle. Oh boy right. At about 9 it was time for my parents to bring me back to my new home and say goodbye for the final time. By far the hardest thing to do in my life. I held it together but as soon as I was alone I broke down. It sucks but hey that’s life. I am just going to live by the motto of TGFS (thank god for Skype). I can’t wait to start school and get things rolling. That it for now and Go Redhawks.
